I am working on an online shopping project.......

I want to retrive data from database using checkbox......

For Example....
i have an mobbile form..... having all mobile records and have some filters such as search by brand, search by range etc....
let me take example of search by brand ......

In search by brand have 4 checkbox named Nokia(Checkbox1), Samsung(Checkbox2), Sony Erricson(Checkbox3) and Blackberry(Checkbox4).... such that if user selects Nokia all nokia mobiles will be shown to him... now problem is that if user selects two checkboxes such as nokia and samsung.... he cant see both he can see only one brands mobile either nokia or samsung.... please help...... mY code as follows..... Checkbox auto post back property set to true....

I am a fledgling at best when it comes to programing. I am trying to acclimate myself with Python's date and time functions. Below is a program I wrote to calculate the Sun rise and set times for a given lat, long. What I am hoping to find out is if there is a way to obtain the Julian date from a given date input so I do not have to calculate the date ahead of time and input it as a parameter, and avoid having to, otherwise, add several lines just to make this happen myself? Also are there functions, as they have in excel, to convert between radians and degrees so I can avoid the lengthy lines of having to do the conversions within my code? Thanks

Can any one help me in generating a webpage using php which should contain a form in a table of 4 columns and more than 50 rows with textboxes.. The data in the first 2 columns has to be retrieved from the database based on the attributes selected in the previous page (eg. if he selects India the 1st 2 columns of next page should contain the names n id of all the Indians from the database). The 3rd n 4th columns should be textboxes where user can enter data n that has to be stored in the database. plz help me with this.. tanq.

Issues with localhost programming and online

Hi,

I developed a website with PHP version 5.1.4 and MySQL - 5.0.22. I tested the web on my localhost and it worked perfectly well. However, when I uploaded the website, I could not have access to all have to all the data inserted in my database. I could not understand the reason for this. However, after complaining to the hosting company, it was suggested that probably there is a difference in the php.ini of my localhost and that of the hosting company. The php.ini of the web hosting company is Debian, MySQL Version: 5.0.91, Perl Version: 5.8.8. Being a newbie in this, is it possible that the difference in this developmental portal and the hosting portal could lead to my inability to access of my data in the database of the hosting company?

As the title says, I have a flash drive, and a script on that flash drive. Whenever I plug my drive into my Mac OSX, I want a specific Python script that is on my drive to run, and be able to access directories on my computer. Why am I doing this? I'm crazy, and I felt like knowing, for future use. And for present experiments.

I found this. You could replace the bash script by a python script. You must learn a bit of the launchd system in mac os (which I don't know).

I wasn't able to understand this, much less make it work. I know nothing about plists, and I wasn't able to find any useful things online to make it work.
